“Rákóczi-tour” Touristic Information Centre

The “Rákóczi-tour” Touristic Information Centre is a unit of the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University. The Touristic Information Centre is tasked with coordinating and developing the institution’s tourism services, while providing a practical training environment for tourism students.

The main activities of the Centre include:

• Organizing excursions on the university campus.
• Booking accommodation for university guests and staff.
• Arranging city tours for guests and students.
• Developing students’ tour guide skills both on campus and in the city.
• Organizing tourism events in collaboration with the Department of Geography and Tourism.
• Implementing joint projects with various university units.
• Providing advisory and informational services to guests and students, both verbally and through promotional materials.
• Establishing partnerships with local and international tourism businesses, as well as other institutions in the tourism sector
