The building, originally constructed in the 1980s, was purchased by the institution in 2016 to be converted into a sports facility. Prior to the reconstruction, the building occupied a 0.7736-hectare plot of land and had a total area of only 637 $m^2$. Following the extensive renovation, the now two-story building houses two gymnasiums, a dance hall, an aerobics room, and specialized facilities for training nurses and caregivers.

The Centre for Health Care and Sport was officially opened on June 21, 2019, having been established with the support of the Government of Hungary and the State Secretariat for National Policy.
