Students of the Department of Accounting and Auditing Participate in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in Finance

The Department of Accounting and Auditing of Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University consistently supports the research activity of its students, engaging them in professional events at the national level. A vivid testament to this is the participation of two students of the educational programme “Financial Security” in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in Finance, held at the West Ukrainian National University (Ternopil).

The Competition is a prestigious national academic event organized in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Its purpose is to train a new generation of specialists of European standard, to develop research skills, to foster innovative thinking, and to promote novel approaches to addressing current challenges in the transformation of the financial landscape amid global pressures. Participation in the all-Ukrainian competition testifies to the high scientific potential of our applicants and active research work at the department.

In 2026, the Department of Accounting and Auditing was represented by two competitive papers.

Davyd Vaidanych participated with a research paper entitled “Forecasting the Development of the Stock Market of Ukraine under Conditions of Economic Instability” (certificate No. 26/3). His academic supervisor is Robert Bacho, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing.

Mariana Kobryn presented a research paper entitled “Modern Approaches to Managing the Capital Structure of a Company in the Context of Global Challenges” (certificate No. 26/4). Her academic supervisor is Nina Poyda-Nosyk, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Accounting and Auditing.

Participation in a national-level competition is not only an opportunity to present the results of one’s own research, but also an important step in shaping the scholarly identity of a young researcher. The Department is proud of its students and congratulates them on their successful participation in this prestigious event!
