Students of the Department of Accounting and Auditing – Participants in Academic Conferences

In May 2026, students enrolled in the “Financial Security” educational programme at the Department of Accounting and Auditing actively participated in two prominent academic forums.

On 8-9 May, third-year students I. Holubka, V. Klepar, M. Kobryn, and H.Soliak presented their research findings at the scientific-practical conference “Regulation of Economic Processes in Modern Conditions”, held in Odesa, Ukraine. Participation in the event marked an important step in developing the research competencies of young scholars and provided an opportunity to present the results of their work before a wide professional audience.

On 21 May, fourth-year students A. Balogh and D. Vaidanych took part in the I International Scientific-Practical Conference “Management, Finance and Business Technologies: Global Trends and Innovations”, hosted by the National University “Odessa Polytechnic”. The conference was organised by the Department of Management, Finance and Business Technologies of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Service and Administration of the National University “Odessa Polytechnic”. Rákóczi University was invited as a co-organiser of the event. The international format of the conference provided participants with valuable insight into current global trends in management and finance.

On behalf of Rákóczi University, Prof. Nina Poyda-Nosyk delivered a welcome address to the conference participants, highlighting the relevance of digital transformation, innovation in management, and sustainable development in the context of today’s global challenges.

Particular recognition goes to student Andrii Balogh, who successfully presented a paper entitled “Currency Security of Ukraine in a Wartime Economy”. The presentation generated considerable interest among participants and demonstrated the student’s high level of academic preparation.
