We are pleased to inform our readers, authors and professional partners that the scientific journal Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis, Philologica has successfully met the renewed evaluation requirements introduced by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and has once again been included in the Category “B” list of scientific professional journals of Ukraine.
The relevant decision was approved by Order No. 928 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, dated 11 June 2026, which regulates the inclusion of scientific periodicals in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine and the awarding of Category “B” status. Pursuant to the order, the Category “B” scientific professional journal status of our journal has been confirmed for the period from 1 June 2026 to 31 May 2029.
The renewed 2026 list was compiled on the basis of new rules and higher-level evaluation criteria. During the evaluation procedure, particular attention was paid, among other things, to the professional standard of editorial work, the implementation of the principles of scientific and academic integrity, the quality of the peer-review process, the international visibility of the journal, the transparency of editorial and publication procedures, as well as all indicators demonstrating compliance with the requirements of modern scholarly publishing.
The successful evaluation and the confirmation of Category “B” status represent important professional recognition for us. This decision confirms that Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis, Philologica meets the current requirements for scholarly publishing activity and continues to provide a reliable and professionally recognised platform for linguistic, literary, philological and related humanities research.
This achievement is the result of the consistent and dedicated work of the editorial board, the professional contribution of our reviewers, and the trust and cooperation of our authors. Our shared goal is to ensure that the journal continues to contribute at a high standard to the dissemination of scholarly results, the strengthening of professional dialogue and the enhancement of the international visibility of philological research.
