REGULATIONS on the Department for Quality Assurance in Higher Education

The Department for Quality Assurance in Higher Education is a structural unit of the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University, established for the methodological support and organizational guidance of the implementation of the University’s education quality assurance policy, as well as the coordination and monitoring of the activities of structural units regarding this matter.

The Department coordinates the process of conducting internal audits and exercises control over compliance with the semester schedule structure, timetable, and rules of the educational process organization.

It monitors participation in advanced training and professional development courses for faculty members to improve scientific and methodological skills.

The Department manages the digitalization of the educational process at the University, participates in the development and maintenance of the Information Management System (IMS) and the “IRIS” Electronic Educational Process Management Information System, and provides methodological and technical assistance to both system developers and all participants in the University’s educational process.

Within the framework of the department, the Higher Education Quality Assurance Council functions as a consultative and advisory body of the University’s internal stakeholders, whose primary activity is aimed at improving the institution’s educational services quality assurance system by collecting and summarizing information received from stakeholders.

The Department coordinates all activities related to the maintenance, amendment, and editing of the Education Quality Assurance Concept.
