In 2016, the university purchased the building of a former forestry office located within the Velyka Dobron’ General Zoological Reserve. The forestry house and its adjacent buildings were originally constructed in the 1960s, with the complex undergoing partial renovations in the early 2000s.
Following its complete reconstruction and equipment, the facility operates as an educational, scientific, and leisure center. The development of the surrounding grounds allows the site to serve as a research base, and there are plans for the area to include an adventure park, a petting zoo, and a sports base. The reconstructed complex was officially opened in the village of Velyka Dobron’ on October 9, 2020.
