From 4 to 9 June 2026, the Department of Accounting and Auditing successfully held the final assessment of first-cycle (bachelor’s) degree students of the «Financial Security» educational programme.
This is a special milestone for the «Financial Security» programme, as its first graduating class marks its establishment, development, and the first results of the joint work of students and faculty. For the graduates, the final assessment represents the culmination of several years of dedicated effort, professional growth, participation in research and educational projects, overcoming the challenges of wartime, and gaining their first significant professional experience.
The work of the Examination Board involved respected scholars and practitioners, whose professional experience ensured an objective and impartial assessment of learning outcomes. Such cooperation helps improve the quality of the educational process, take into account current employer requirements, and strengthen the practical orientation of training future specialists.
The Chair of the Examination Board, Dr. Sci. (Econ.), Professor of the Department of International Trade, Customs and Financial Technologies at Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Nataliia Mykolaivna Vnukova, highly praised the graduates’ level of theoretical training, the relevance of their qualification thesis topics, and the quality of the research conducted. She noted the graduates’ solid knowledge, their ability to professionally analyse current trends in the development of the financial sector, and their confident presentation of the results of their own research.
The final assessment also involved an external stakeholder of the educational programme – Nataliia Yuriivna Borkulesh, Deputy Director and Head of the Budget Department of the Finance Department of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration – Regional Military Administration, who highlighted the students’ strong knowledge of how the financial system operates and the mechanisms for ensuring financial security, the practical orientation of their qualification theses, and the graduates’ ability to propose well-grounded solutions to current challenges in state and local governance. She wished the graduates professional fulfilment, successful career growth, and continuous improvement of their knowledge and skills in the financial sector.
All graduates demonstrated solid theoretical knowledge, an appropriate level of practical training, and the ability to analyse current challenges in the field of financial security and propose well-founded ways of addressing them.
