Lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of Rákóczi University Served on the Jury of the Second Stage of the 2026 All-Ukrainian Competition-Defense of Research Papers of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

On 20 February 2026, the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Competition-Defense of Research Papers in Economics for student members of the Transcarpathian Territorial Branch of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was held in the 2025/2026 academic year. This annual event brings together gifted students who present their own research, as well as scholars and experts who evaluate the competition papers.

Lecturers of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of Rákóczi University also joined the jury and worked in the following specialized sections:

  • Gabriella Loskorikh, PhD in Accounting and Taxation, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing — Chair of the International Economics and Analytics Section.
  • Viktoriia Makarovych, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department of Accounting and Auditing — Chair of the Applied Microeconomics and Entrepreneurship. Macroeconomics and Economic Policy Section.
  • Edina Shebeshten, PhD in Economics, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Accounting and Auditing — member of the jury of the Management and Marketing Section.

The participation of Rákóczi University lecturers in the jury of such a prestigious intellectual competition reflects the high professional standards of the Department’s academic staff and their active support for gifted school students in Transcarpathia. Events of this kind contribute to the development of students’ research skills, the formation of their scientific outlook, and the promotion of economics among the younger generation.
