An important and truly special event recently took place for the bachelor’s educational program “Financial Security” (specialty 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance”) — the successful defense of the pre-graduation internship by the first cohort of full-time and part-time students.
For all participants, this was not only the completion of an important practical stage of their studies, but also an opportunity to share their impressions of how the knowledge gained during their studies works in a real professional environment. For the teaching staff, this day was especially emotional as well, since the first graduating cohort is always unique. It represents shared experiences, growth, and many important moments of the students’ personal and professional development.
During the defense, students presented the results of their work, shared their experience gained at different internship placements, and spoke about the tasks they had completed. It was especially rewarding to hear positive feedback about the internship institutions, the supportive atmosphere within the teams, and the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in practice. Many students noted that the internship became an important stage of their professional development and helped them better understand the practical aspects of their future profession.
We are particularly pleased that the examination committee was joined by the stakeholder of the educational program, Andrea Husar (NGO “Union of Young Hungarian Entrepreneurs of Transcarpathia”), who gave very positive feedback on the students’ level of preparation, the quality of their presentations, and the content of the internship reports. It is truly important when the professional community supports young professionals and believes in their future success.
We sincerely congratulate our students on successfully completing this important stage of their studies! We wish them confidence in their abilities, inspiration to apply the knowledge they have gained, and continued enthusiasm for their future professional path. The first graduating cohort of the “Financial Security” educational program is confidently and successfully stepping into its professional future!
