Master’s Students of the Educational Programme “International Accounting and Taxation” Demonstrated Successful Results during the Defense of Pre-Diploma Internship Reports
On 8 December 2025, the Department of Accounting and Auditing held the defence of pre-diploma internship reports by Master’s students of the Educational Programme “International Accounting and Taxation”.
During the defense, the students presented the outcomes of their pre-diploma internships completed at enterprises and organisations of various forms of ownership. They demonstrated a satisfactory level of professional competence, the ability to analyze financial and economic information, and the capacity to apply accounting, taxation and financial analysis tools in accordance with national and international standards.
Particular attention during the defense was paid to the practical relevance of the results obtained, their alignment with the topics of the Master’s qualification theses, as well as the students’ ability to present their conclusions and recommendations in a well-argued and professional manner.
Representatives of employers were involved in the assessment of the pre-diploma internship outcomes, which is an important element of implementing a student-centred approach and ensuring the practice-oriented nature of the educational process, in particular:
- Kateryna Turianytsia – Chief Accountant, Kilikia Uzhhorod Ltd.;
- Gabriella Popovych – Director at the Audit Firm “Accounting and Audit” (Private Enterprise).
The participating employers emphasised the adequate level of professional training of the Master’s students, the relevance of the practical tasks performed, and the students’ readiness to carry out professional activities in the fields of international accounting, taxation and auditing.
