Modern Analytics in Action: Students of the Department of Accounting and Auditing Took Part in a YouControl Workshop

On 5 November 2025, the Department of Accounting and Auditing held a practical workshop dedicated to tools for verifying counterparties and analysing business connections in the modern digital environment, supported by YouControl LLC.

Olesia Spesivtseva, an expert in financial monitoring, assessment of financial and tax risks, and public finance management, delivered an insightful webinar titled “Services Based on Open Data”. During the session, she shared practical case studies on counterparty verification, business link analysis, and ensuring the financial security of enterprises.

Throughout the workshop, students of the Accounting and Taxation and Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market degree programmes worked with the YouControl system’s analytical tools, practiced the verification of individuals and legal entities, and learned how to identify cooperation risks and make well-grounded managerial decisions based on open data.

The event marked another step in strengthening the department’s collaboration with the business sector and integrating advanced analytical technologies into the educational process.
