On 15 May 2026, the jubilee 20th Transcarpathian Scientific Student Conference was held at Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University. The scientific event was organized by Rákóczi University in cooperation with the “GENIUS” Charity Foundation, within the framework of the “Without Borders” initiative of the National Student Council.
The aim of the conference is to promote professional self-education among students of higher education institutions in Transcarpathia, as well as to strengthen professional communication between young researchers and the region’s academic communities.
Participants had the opportunity to present the results of their research before a professional jury in eight sections. Altogether, 42 presentations were delivered and evaluated by 57 experts.
We are pleased to highlight that third-year bachelor’s students of the Accounting and Taxation educational programme of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of Rákóczi University successfully participated in the Economics and Accounting section and won prizes:
