Accounting and Finance Students at the International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Role of Security in Cross-Border and International Cooperation”

On October 8–9, 2025, the Ferenc Rakoczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University hosted the international scientific and professional conference entitled The role of security in cross-border and international cooperation. The conference brought together the academic community from more than 20 higher education institutions, with a total of 170 participants from Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Turkey, and Romania.

The event was attended by bachelor’s degree students from the Department of Accounting and Auditing, specializing in “Accounting and Taxation” and “Finance, Banking, Insurance, and the Stock Market,” who participated in the conference as part of the student research club “Researching Accounting, Financial, and Economic Aspects of the Operations of Business Entities at Micro, Meso, and Macro-Economic Levels” (supervised by dr. Gabriella Loskorikh and dr. Kateryna Sochka).

The conference included several sessions, such as: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies in the Field of Security; Cyberculture and Digital Hygiene in Education; Security in Cross-Border Cooperation: Politics, Strategies, Diplomacy; Legal, Social, Psychological, and Economic Dimensions of Security; Security Challenges at the Regional and Local Levels; Historical, Cultural, and Philosophical Aspects of Security in Border Regions.

We sincerely thank the organizers of the conference for providing an excellent opportunity for participants to deepen their knowledge and exchange experiences with experts and colleagues from various countries. This event has become an important platform for students studying accounting, finance, and economics, contributing to their development in scientific research activities and deepening their knowledge in the field of security, which is crucial for future international cooperation.
