Participation of the faculty members of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the University of Rakoczi in an international conference in Budapest
On January 30, 2026, Professors Robert Bacho and Nina Poyda-Nosyk of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University took part in the international scientific conference “The Business Beyond Disruption 2026: Flexibility, Responsibility & Renewal”, hosted by Budapest Metropolitan University.
The conference brought together academics, researchers, and practitioners from universities and research institutions across Europe, Asia, and Africa. It focused on contemporary challenges in business development amid global transformations, digitalization, geopolitical risks, and the growing importance of sustainable development. The programme featured plenary sessions and thematic panels devoted to digital transformation and artificial intelligence in business, sustainable finance and ESG strategies, ethics and corporate governance, organizational resilience and crisis leadership, global supply chains, and entrepreneurial renewal.
Within the plenary session, Professor Robert Bacho delivered a presentation addressing leadership, change management, and decision-making under conditions of uncertainty. Professor Nina Poyda-Nosyk presented a paper on the integration of sustainable finance and risk management in achieving global ESG goals, drawing on the case of Ukrainian companies.
The participation of representatives of the University of Rakoczi in this conference highlights the high academic standard of research conducted at the Department of Accounting and Auditing, its active integration into the international academic community, and its engagement with key trends shaping contemporary economics and finance.
