The 2025/3 issue of Acta Academiae Beregsasiensis, Philologica is now available

On 30 October 2025, the Department of Philology released the third issue of its scholarly journal for this year, which contains eleven articles and four reviews.

The linguistic studies address the multilingual linguistic landscape of Transcarpathia, the mechanisms of code-switching and lexical borrowing, comparative analyses of language use among university students in Transcarpathia and Hungary, as well as new terminological developments related to artificial intelligence.

Readers interested in literary studies will find interpretations of the works of Andrzej Stasiuk, Max Kidruk, Olha Mak, and Andriy Lyubka from various perspectives. The issue includes contributions in Hungarian, Ukrainian, English, and Slovak.

The Reviews section features discussions and evaluations of dialect atlases, a dictionary of clichés, the journal Magyar Nyelv (“Hungarian Language”), and a sociolinguistic volume.

As with previous issues, the full content of the current issue is available on the journal’s website: https://aab-philologica.kmf.uz.ua.

Linguistic and literary studies, as well as reviews intended for publication, may be submitted to the journal’s e-mail address: aab-philologica@kmf.org.ua. The next issue is scheduled for publication in January 2026.
