Faculty and Student Mobility
Mobility Programs
The instructors and students of the Department of Biology and Chemistry regularly participate in the Erasmus+ and Makovecz mobility programs. These programs aim to enable successful applicants—both instructors and students—to travel to one of the University’s partner institutions within the European Union to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and actively engage in the professional work conducted there. During these study visits, participants gain insight into the operation, educational and research processes, and professional activities of the partner institutions’ workshops.
Over the past five years, under the Erasmus+ program, five of our department’s instructors and two students have participated in mobility abroad, while our department has hosted seven visiting instructors. Within the Makovecz Mobility Program, four of our students completed their program at a selected foreign university, and we hosted one guest student.
