Unity in Good Deeds: The Department of Accounting and Auditing Participated in a Student Government Charity Initiative

The Christmas season is traditionally filled with warmth, hope, and a sincere desire to help those in need. It is during this time that the values of mutual support, compassion, and unity become especially tangible, and charity takes on a deeper meaning.

This year, the student self-government of Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University, together with the student self-government of the Ferenc Kölcsey College, organized a charitable initiative aimed at supporting children in need of care and assistance. This year, the collection was held for the residents of the “Good Samaritan” Children’s Home of Mercy, located in the village of Velyka Dobron. Lecturers and students of the Department of Accounting and Auditing actively joined this good cause, demonstrating solidarity and genuine concern.

Such initiatives not only provide help to those who need it most, but also show students the importance of social responsibility and teamwork. Charitable activities have already become an integral part of the life of our academic community. Every contribution matters, even the smallest one.
