Finance and Accounting Students Visited the Insurance Company PJSC “NASK ORANTA” as Part of Financial Literacy Week
On October 28, 2025, undergraduate students majoring in “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” and “Accounting and Taxation” from the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University took part in an educational excursion to the insurance company PJSC “NASK ORANTA” in Berehove, held within the framework of Financial Literacy Week.

Financial Literacy Week is an important initiative of the Department of Accounting and Auditing aimed at enhancing financial awareness and developing practical competencies among students. Throughout the week, various lectures, trainings, and educational visits are organized to help students gain a deeper understanding of financial processes and apply their theoretical knowledge in real-life situations.
During the excursion, Olena Nosenko, Head of the Berehove branch of PJSC “NASK ORANTA”, familiarized the students with the specifics of working in the insurance sector. She provided a detailed overview of the company’s operations, explained the stages of concluding insurance contracts, the process of risk assessment, and determining insurance policy values. Special attention was paid to the role of financial monitoring in insurance as a crucial tool for preventing violations and ensuring financial security.
The students had the opportunity to observe how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice and to understand the importance of responsibility, analytical thinking, and accuracy in this profession.
We express our sincere gratitude to Olena Nosenko for the insightful meeting, openness, professionalism, and valuable advice that helped students gain a deeper understanding of the insurance industry and the importance of financial literacy in today’s economy.
Such events play a significant role in developing practical skills, critical thinking, and a conscious understanding of the importance of financial literacy in the professional growth of future specialists.
