Erasmus+ Academic Mobility: Participation of the Department of Accounting and Auditing Staff

From March 16 to March 20, 2026, representatives of the Department of Accounting and Auditing took part in the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme. The participants included the Head of the Department of Accounting and Auditing, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Robert Bacho; Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nina Poyda-Nosyk; and Doctor of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Viktoriia Makarovych.

The international scientific internship and professional development activities were held at the Eötvös József College (Baja, Hungary). The programme aimed to enhance professional competencies, promote internationalization of education, improve educational programmes, and implement innovative teaching approaches. Participants from Rákóczi University delivered a series of lectures and practical sessions in finance and accounting, integrating contemporary topics such as sustainable development, digital transformation, financial resilience, and EU-oriented financial regulation. The programme also facilitated the exchange of experience in the use of innovative technologies, teaching forms, methods, and tools, as well as discussions on practical aspects of professional activity in education. Particular attention was paid to improving the effectiveness of the educational process and advancing the professional development of academic staff.

During the programme, meetings were held with faculty members and researchers of Eötvös József College, which provided an opportunity to gain insight into the organization of the educational process, the conduct of scientific research, and modern approaches to teaching finance, economics, and accounting disciplines.

Working meetings with academic staff also focused on current research topics, the development of international cooperation and integration links, the exchange of experience in the accreditation of educational programmes, the improvement of the educational process, and the implementation of modern teaching methods in economic disciplines.

The outcomes of participation in the academic mobility programme will contribute to the further development of educational programmes, the introduction of innovative approaches into the teaching process, and the expansion of international cooperation within the Department.
