Career Day for Accounting Students

On October 24, 2025, the annual event “Career Day for Accounting Students” was held at the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University.

The Department of Accounting and Auditing of University of Rákóczi, together with the Cycle Commission of Accounting and Taxation of the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian University Vocational High School, organized this career-oriented event for the sixth consecutive year. The aim was to help students of the Accounting and Taxation program better understand the realities of the profession, employment opportunities, and possible career paths.

This year’s Career Day was held under the motto: “Step by step – towards career success,” symbolizing the steady and confident professional growth of young specialists.

The event was joined by invited guests — graduates of the Department of Accounting and Auditing of the University of Rákóczi: Gabor Albok, Vivien Batori, Teodora Gyurko, and Natalia Marhitych.

Natalia Marhitych, an entrepreneur, shared her experience of establishing and developing a business in the beauty industry.

Gabor Albok, Vivien Batori, and Teodora Gyurko are currently pursuing their Master’s degrees in International Accounting and Taxation at the University of Rákóczi while working in the economic sector, successfully combining academic studies with practical experience.

The graduates spoke about their professional journeys, challenges, and achievements, offering students valuable advice on building a successful career in accounting and finance. The event took place in a warm, inspiring, and motivating atmosphere, giving every participant meaningful insights and guidance for their future development.
